Wickedly Cool Bean!!

Okay, I do not have them yet, but I am not all that secure with what I have to do to make them all come together!

I love my Fiance, but he’s pretty lazy.  I have known this from the getgo, so I am not all that surprised.   I have asked him for weeks to call the Priest that he knows in Miami to set up the classes we need to arrange, and figure out the date we want…  In God’s Eyes…

I really need to ask my parents how much they care for a Church Wedding…

It could get messy…………

I am afraid that I am going to be late for work and that I am going to be stuck outside in the drive through all day.  It won’t be all that bad if I do, but we’ll see.  Being out there is just so up and down - either really busy or really dead.  Either way, I will have a book to read and the internet to keep me busy!

I am actually looking forward to Saturday - this house needs a CLEANING!!!

I hope that everyone enjoyed celebrating yet another holiday that has nothing to do with America or its history, yet encourages us to party and drink until we are swimming! Gotta love living in the Melting Pot of the world!

I spent the day at the local Adobe Gila’s restaurant. It was a lot of fun - and that isn’t only because that is where my fiance works! It was just so very nice outside, the view of the Atlantic is great, the Pomegranate maragritas were smooth… I even had the day off as a reward for winning a contest at work. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Jorge didn’t have to work.  Life yesterday was good.

Yes, you heard correctly! My boyfriend of four years (on and off) finally proposed!

No, it wasn’t all romantic. In fact the proposal was pretty white trash (outside a gas station), but it was spontaneous and completely unexpected! This happened on April 8th and from then on it has been a whirlwind of a month!

We have notified everyone and gotten the congratulatory phone calls and emails. We have put up with the teasing, “Forever? Forever-ever??” and all that jazz. And we have begun to recruit the help of our newly married friends and family to help give us an idea as to what we need to do from here.

The first question everyone now asks is, “Did you set a date?” Answer - no. We figured that we would have to first decide on where the ceremony will take place. My family is in Massachusetts while his is in Miami. However, the amount of people he has to invite completely dwarfs the number of my family. When we did a preliminary guest list - his doubled mine with a few to spare. So, it was decided that we will have a Floridian wedding. Now, the choice is between St. Augustine (which is in the lead) or Miami. Both have their benefits and drawbacks, but it would be cheaper and more relaxed to have it in St. Augustine. And by cheaper, I don’t mean that we are going to skimp, but to have the same wedding in Miami would cost us probably twice what we could get away with up here.

Now, I am collecting bridal advice, websites and magazines and hoping for the best. I know it’s going to be a crazy thing to plan, but really fun at the same time! At least, I hope so!

I was just about to pull my hair out of my head until I finally had the cash to bring my computer in to get fixed. Turns out that it was a really simple thing, a small plug had come loose, but irritating to no end!!! The people who fixed it were really nice, which was great - it’s so hard to find good customer service! They even upgraded my video card for me! I was in and out in just about 90 minutes. I had fully expected to have to leave the PC there! What a great surprise that was!

So, I should be getting back into the swing of things as the week goes on. I have already added some Bike Week pics to my Bike Week post and played around with a few of the ads to bring them up to date. Other than that, I have a couple of good things in mind to write about! That’s always a bonus!
